Most of our clients have one or more database of users that they'd like to migrate to their new platform. This isn't a problem. We have a Master User Upload Template -- the "MUUT" -- that you will use to bring your pre-existing user data into your new Magnet-based website and user database.

The idea is simple. You'll gather all of your user information, including membership info, user profile info, and any custom info you might have and paste it into the columns in the MUUT. You'll then submit this MUUT to us, and we'll review it. We may have questions for you to answer about particular aspects of your file or corrections for you to make. Once we have the file ready to go, we can upload it.

One note: we generally recommend that you wait to submit your final version of your MUUT until just a couple days before you're ready to go live. Just in case you have changes or updates that you'd like to make to your user data prior to going live, we want to make sure we minimize the likelihood that we would have to re-upload your user data; it's only the first upload that is included with your License Fee. Any additional uploads do come with a $250 fee, and you shouldn't put yourself in that position unless it's genuinely necessary.  Statistically, less than 1% of our clients require a re-upload and most of these are ones who uploaded their MUUT and then waited a while to go live.

All in all, the process shouldn't take you more than about one to two hours of time.
