How many emails per month can you send via your Magnet website?

Beginning in January 2011, we introduced a new email delivery system with a different approach to your monthly delivery quota. You now have a maximum number of "email messages" that you can send out each month as opposed to a maximum number of enewsletters that you can send.

What's the difference between enewsletters and email messages?

As an example, let's say that you have 5000 users in your user database with email addresses who are opted in to receive email and you're about to send out an enewsletter to all 5000 of them. Each person receiving an email is receiving one email message. So this one enewsletter will be generating 5000 email messages.

We currently give you a maximum number of email messages each month equal to 8 (eight) times the number of users in your user database.

So in our example above, this Magnet website would have 40,000 email messages that they can send each month. They could send out 8 enewsletters with each enewsletter going to all 5000 users. Or they could segment their user list and send 20 enewsletters out to 2000 people each time. Or however else they wish to segment their distribution/recipient lists.

It's up to you to decide whether and how you choose to segment the recipient lists of your enewsletters.
