Editing your Membership Renewal Messages and Membership Application Responses
The Magnet automates your membership management process. Need to customize the automatic messaging that goes out on behalf of your organization? Here's how . . . .
Your Magnet system can automatically send out Membership Renewal
messages and Membership Application Responses on your behalf. By default, these messages are NOT turned on. If you would like them turned on for your site, please post a request to that effect in Support Tracker, and we will turn them on for you.
There are 4
different Membership Renewal Messages that go out and 3 different
Membership Application Responses that can go out.
If you would like to modify these standard messages, there are 2 ways to do this.
1. Have an OmniMagnet engineer do it for you.
2. Or if you're feeling particular resourceful today, and you're willing
to work through the modifications yourself, you can modify this text
and submit your desired revisions via Support Tracker. (Particularly if
you have any experience working with PHP code, feel free to take a stab
at it and save yourself some money.)
We have three samples of the above-described material. Sample #1 is our
stock material for Chapter-level clients. Sample #2 and Sample #3 are
both for Enterprise clients; if you're not an Enterprise client or
Enterprise sub-licensee, you should skip over these two.
Autonotify Sample #1 (for Chapter-level clients)
Autonotify Sample #2 and Autonotify Sample #3 (for Enterprise-level clients)
To modify any or all of your autonotification messages:
1. Copy the entire page you want.
2. Make the changes you want.
3. Save it as a Text (.txt) file. (It is necessary to save as a .txt file as opposed to a Word file. Word files add many richtext characters, which can generate errors when the emails are sent.)
4. Email the file to "production@omnimagnet.com" with the subject line
"Production Materials - yourdomainname.org. Autonotify message
modifications"
(Please be sure to put your organization's actual domain name into the subject line, replacing "yourdomainname.org".)
