Google Maps make it easy for your event attendees to see on a map where they are going. Tight integration with your Magnet user database takes it a step further and enables your Registered Users who have work and/or home contact info in their profiles to get directions to the event from either address with one click. Your users will love it; you'll be amazed at how quick it is to set up for an event; and--even better--it also happens to be free. You just need to sign up for the Google Maps API.

How to get started? We just need you to create and then send us a Google Maps API Key.

Step #1 - Get a gmail account for your site (if you don't have one already):
Go to gmail.com, and sign up for a free gmail account for your site. Please use yourdomain@gmail.com as the address--this will help us to serve you more efficiently. So, for example, say your website's address is 'abc.org' - you should get a gmail address for 'abc.org@gmail.com'.

Step #2 - Click HERE and follow the instructions to generate your Google Maps API Key.

*Leave the default API Key name will be "Browser key 1", then click "Create".


Step #3 - When your API Key appears (it will look something like this: "AIzaSyD22SoHLXGYjBCE_D0TETsZt5ZlxB6Y1Ho") , please copy & paste the Key as a Support item via your website's Support Tracker admin screen. We will take care of the rest!
